Saint Charles, Missouri (October 25, 2021) – The St. Charles County Parents Association has filed suit against the St. Charles County Government. The suit, which names the Saint Charles County Public Health Department as defendants, contends that the thousands of Orders to Quarantine issued to healthy students during the Covid-19 Flu pandemic resulted hundreds of thousands of lost days from school, violated children’s due process rights to a free education, and severely affected the mental health of children in our county.
The suit further contends that the Orders to Quarantine failed to comply with Missouri’s Sunshine Law. The Defendants must be held accountable for their excessive response to the pandemic.
